Sake is Japan’s famous and very traditional alcoholic beverage made of rice. It’s produced by means of a brewing process that is similar to beer. Like for all foodstuffs, the quality of sake depends, amongst other things, on the amount of oxygen present because it affects the flavor, the color and the taste adversely. Japanese sake breweries pay attention to the amount of dissolved oxygen in order to produce delicious and high quality sake.
