Application Note: Determination of High Sugar Concentrations in a Flavored Rum Liquor Sample Using a Compact Ion Chromatography System

In this application note the concentrations of glucose, fructose and sucrose are determined 100-fold diluted flavored rum alcohol sample by HPAE-PAD. The technique in this application note uses a Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Integrion™ RFIC™ system equipped with a 0.4 μL internal injection loop and the Thermo Scientific™ High Concentration Carbohydrate Analysis Kit1 which extends the linearity from low mg/L to g/L concentrations.
