Application Note: Densitometric analysis of protein gels

This application note describes the measurement of optical density (OD) using the Azure Sapphire™ Biomolecular Imager for quantification and identification of proteins separated by gel electrophoresis and stained with colorimetric dyes. The application note also explains how to verify the linearity of the scanner signal using a density steps tablet.
