LC/MS characterization is a biotherapeutic development tool, with many processes still relying on manual handling systems that are prone to errors due to variability in workmanship. This application note introduces how the automation of default workflows, can be used to improve analytical efficiency in the modern biopharmaceutical industry. The Beckman Coulter Biomek NXP Span-8 Workstation and the SCIEX TripleTOF® 6600 Mass Spectrometer where used for the routine characterization of the biotherapeutics.
