Easier Sensor Sterility and Fewer Batch Losses

24 Sept 2017

Most fermentation processes require strict sterility; therefore, in-line analytical sensors must be sterilized prior to inoculation. This is especially true when referring to fermentation conducted in benchtop bioreactors, usually autoclaved to obtain sterility prior to starting a batch. This application note describes the latest developments in analytical sensors that have made this procedure significantly easier, and greatly improved process safety.
