The 8530 Shatterbox® Grinds Tough, Brittle Samples in Minutes

The Shatterbox® is a heavy duty, Swing Mill that is designed for pulverizing dry, brittle samples and slurry grinding. It features a sound-proof enclosure and a timer display that counts down the minutes and seconds remaining in the process. It accommodates sample sizes ranging from 2 - 100 grams and is capable of grinding Cement, Soils, Ceramics, Slag, Rocks, Minerals, Ores, Pharmaceuticals, Sulfur Pellets, Dried Plant Material. Safety features include a safety interlock and gas cylinders for the lid and the sound-insulated steel cabinet has a cooling fan to prevent the motor from overheating.
