Evaporation is often necessary to concentrate an organic extract for the best detection limit or for solvent exchange before chromatographic analysis. This video describes the XcelVap^® system, a hot water nitrogen blowdown evaporator. The XcelVap^® offers a cost-effective way to remove the solvent or reagent whilst retaining high levels of the analytes.
