Thin Layer Chromatography

Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) is a fast, high resolution separation technique which uses a stationary phase of a thin layer of adsorbent. The sorbent is usually silica, cellulose or aluminium oxide. Also consider the choice of the mobile phase solvent, plates, imaging equipment and analysis software.
