infoteam Software AG develops system software for industry automation, life science and healthcare sectors. The company was founded in 1983 and now has 120 employees based at three sites. infoteam Software is an employee owned company and all shares are currently held by ten employees.
In 2010 the company changed into a joint stock corporation.

It specialises in the development of interactive software tools for MS Windows and Linux as well as embedded systems for use in medical devices for analysis and diagnostics and laboratory automation. infoteam Software’s customers include leading manufacturers based in Europe, the USA and the Far East from the fields of medical engineering and automation.
The company’s activities in the medical engineering sector focus on the development of editors for automated laboratory tests. Its professional, high-quality work guarantees the highest possible level of safety in an industry where this is so critical. In 2007, infoteam was awarded supplier of the year by Siemens Healthcare MR.
infoteam contributes strongly to the SiLA (standardization in lab automation) initiative as a founding member.
