Brookfield viscometers/rheometers have been the world standard in viscosity measurement and control of liquids and semi-solids for almost 80 years. Quality, affordability, ease of use, and customer service are just some of the reasons why manufacturers have continuously used Brookfield equipment in the QC and R&D departments. With a variety of models and accessories, Brookfield instrumentation plays a key role in almost any viscosity application.

Brookfield is also a leading manufacturer of texture analyzers/ testers for tension and compression testing. A variety of fixtures and probes enables the Brookfield Texture Analyzer to be used in such diverse industries as pharmaceuticals, packaging, food and more. Brookfield has recently launched a line of instrumentation for quick and easy analysis of powder flow behavior in industrial processing equipment.

Brookfield was among the first in its industry to achieve ISO 9002 Certification for Quality Assurance in 1992, and earned 9001 Certification covering product development and design control in July 1997. Most notable about the 9001 certification process was that it was earned in the first attempt, without a single non-conformance. Similarly, in June 2002, the company was among the first in its field to achieve the new ISP 9001:2000 standard, also accomplished on it’s first attempt.

In September of 2005, Brookfield received a gold medal Shingo prize for manufacturing — the highest award given to any of the 2005 participants
— for its commitment to providing the highest quality products at the best possible price.

In November of 2011, R&D Magazine announced Brookfield’s PFT Powder Flow Tester as one of the top 100 high technology products for 2011.
