Aspectrics Inc

Aspectrics began in 2004 to develop and manufacture a new generation of on-line and remotely deployable industrial monitoring instruments based on a patented, breakthrough technology that the company describes as EP-IR (Encoded Photometric Infra-Red).
The company believes that an opportunity exists for EP-IR to replace Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and gas chromatographic technologies currently used for process monitoring and environmental applications. A single EP-IR system can replace multiple NDIR modules and provide better performance.
The company is now shipping production systems, and presently has installations at multiple sites spanning a range of industries.
The company is managed by a team of Silicon Valley and instrument company veterans and has more than $5 million of venture capital backing to date.
TECHNOLOGY
Aspectrics' products are based upon its patented Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) technology invented and reduced to practice by the company’s founder and CTO, Thomas W. Hagler, Ph.D. This technology enables Aspectrics to produce multi-application chemical composition analyzers, based upon a universal EP-IR hardware platform.
