Yrdimes is the ideal device for semi-dry electro-blotting. The transfer of nucleic acids or proteins takes place in a stack of sample matrix and buffer-saturated filters between two plate-electrodes made of platinum-coated titanium and stainless steel respectively. The coating material together with?the spring loading locking mechanism?facilitates an even electrical field for homogenous transfer of up to?4 minigels.?Yrdimes has?a light and compact design, and the module is easy to assemble. Being a? semidry system, it?is less buffer and time-consuming than wet systems.
