Incorporating the latest technology to achieve high sensitivity, high resolution and an ultra-low stray light level, Shimadzu’s UV-3600i Plus UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer offers scientists an opportunity to provide high-performance analyses in a wealth of application areas, including materials science, food science, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and chemicals.
Key features/benefits include
- Three detectors – Equipped with three detectors — PMT (photomultiplier tube) for ultraviolet and visible regions, and InGaAs and cooled PbS detectors for the near-infrared region — to ensure high sensitivity across the entire measured wavelength range.
- Ultra-low stray light level (0.00005% max at 340 nm) with high resolution
- Wide wavelength range of 185 to 3,300 nm enables measurement across the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared regions
- Numerous accessories are available. These include a three-detector, multi-purpose, large-sample compartment, absolute specular reflectance accessories, temperature-controlled cell holders and micro cell holders.
Shimadzu LabSolutions UV-Vis control software is included with the UV-3600i Plus. Measurement modes include photometric, spectrum, quantitation, kinetics, time course and bio-methods. Advanced software add-ons are available. With the proper software compliance package, the UV-3600i Plus UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer and the software setup can provide total data integrity, user administration and audit trail to fully comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
