Good results, but not purchased in production.

Application Area:

mAb purification

It's easy to use. We compared with the commonly used protA resins, and it's quite good.

TOYOPEARL AF-rProtein A HC-650F is designed for high capacity purification of antibodies

TOYOPEARL AF-rProtein A HC-650F allows to increase productivity and to reduce production costs: It excels over other commercially available Protein A media. IgG DBCs over 100 g/L can even be observed at higher titers. This prevents DSP bottlenecks even at short resi¬dence times. Improved mass transfer characteristics allow it to maintain a larger percent of its capacity at lower residence times relative to agarose based, caustic stable resins.

Its alkali stability allows at least 300 Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) cycles (at 0.2 M NaOH) without significant reduction in dynamic binding capacity.

Protein A resins constitute a substantial cost in state-of-the-art mAb purification processes. Factors such as operating cycles, capacity, and mAb titer can have an impact on total costs associated with mAb purification. The high capacity of the new TOYOPEARL AF-rProtein A HC-650F resin and its high alkaline resistance increase product throughput, reduce operating costs and increase manufacturing productivity.
