Description
Thermo Multiskan GO UV/Vis microplate spectrophotometer - offering free wavelength selection for both 96- and 384-well plates and various types of cuvettes.
The Thermo Multiskan GO UV-Vis spectrophotometer features a broad wavelength range, including UV area and pathlength correction, as well as fast spectral scanning. This makes the Thermo Multiskan a large number of applications, including DNA, RNA and protein analysis in 96- and 384-well plates and standard cuvettes. The Multiskan GO performs endpoint, kinetic and spectral scanning assays at high fast speeds. Any measurement wavelength between 200 and 1000 nm can be selected via the advanced monochromator-based optical system, which also enables complete spectral scanning of a sample in less than 10s. Additionally, temperature-critical assays benefit from the precise temperature control feature.
With increased energy efficiency, the Multiskan GO is designed to ensure first-rate performance and high-quality results with minimal effort. Automatic self diagnostic processes at start-up verify all major instrument functionalities, and continuous runtime control of optical and mechanical functions, ensures stable day-to-day and year-on-year performance and reliability. Energy consumption is reduced by up to 70% by the automatic power save function. With software available in multiple language versions, the Multiskan GO can be controlled as a standalone unit or, by the intuitive Thermo Scientific SkanIt PC Software.
