"The LTQ Orbitrap XL is our "workhorse" machine in the lab. It is used to gather full proteomic profiles from biological samples. The machine runs almost 24/7 in our lab. As with any complex instrument, we've had some down time but overall the machine is very reliable consistently delivering high-accuracy and resolution MS data."
