The Thermo Scientific Heraeus Cryofuge 6000i and 8500i are low speed centrifuges ideally suited for use in blood banks, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industry where large volumes are centrifuged at high speeds and constant temperatures. Each offer optimized technology for all low speed centrifugation applications. Key features include: •User friendly:  Automatic lid locks enables the Cryofuge to be closed easily. Main control functions are conveniently arranged for easy access and the Cryofuge is equipped with 33 centrifuge programs for routine applications. Speed is controlled digitally with automatic RCF adjustments. •Powerful technology: The Cryofuge is equipped with a powerful, maintenance free induction drive for quiet and smooth operation. Its refrigeration system uses the environmentally friendly CFC free refrigerant R 404a. •Safety: When designing the Cryofuge, all international national safety standards were kept in mind to guarantee the highest level of safety. Diagnostic and fault messages are clearly visible. Pre-selecting of buckets protects against over-speeding. Steel armoured rotor chamber and lid lock system ensure safe operation. A key switch safeguards against unauthorized use.
