Great product for cannabinoids analysis.
Cannabinoids
The Raptor ARC-18 column is one of the best columns for cannabinoid analysis. The separation for multiple cannabinoids is so great even by using the isocratic condition. Strongly recommended.

Great customer support and an excellent chromatogram reproducibility!
Cannabinoid assay
The column came in very fast. It has easy to understand instructions. It is nice to see that CofAs are available online, less paper. The separation was top notch. As per the paper Restek published earlier, the chromatogram did not disappoint. All peaks were sharp, nicely separated and a very fast run. Extremely satisfied so far. Unfortunately, we are in the process of renovations, so we can not perform many runs right now. Due to that fact I can not comment of how durable the column is. When I had questions about storage of the column, the customer service representative was very quick to respond with very informative explanations. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

Greate results, good seperation.
Analysis of CBD
Achieved good separation of many different CBD compounds.

Worked straight out of the box
Cannabinoid analysis
I have had a look at a number of columns that could be used in cannabinoid analysis, the Raptor ARC-18 was the first and only column that reproduced the described manufacturers method. Following the manufacturers method this column was able to reproduce the method in our laboratory and has continued to do so.

Good product
Potency analysis in cannabis products
I've found the ARC-18 LC columns are the best column for potency analysis in cannabis products. Similar columns from other manufacturers did not get the same resolution as this column. It is robust and lasts for many injections.

Great instrument, okay service.
Cannabinoid potency testing
This column was not the easiest to get set up. I cannot get my peaks to look anywhere as clean as the website shows. I have asked for advice a few times and nothing has really helped. I will keep doing my own R&D to figure out how to improve my peaks. I also would have figured that I would have gotten a notification when the standard procedure changed and the cannabinoid profile expanded. This is a missed opportunity because there could have easily been an up sale. Additionally, I am a customer that will go out of my way to stay with a company and promote them to other people in my industry if I feel that they go above and beyond to ensure that all my needs are met. For instance, I have definitely pushed several of my colleagues to start going through GenTech because of their superb customer care.

Great product, effective and perfect for our needs.
Analyze cannabinoids in cannabis and hemp products
This product is very effective for our use in separating, identifying and quantifying 9 cannabinoid compounds in a large array of products. We have developed a series of methods using the Restek Raptor ARC-18 columns, starting with the 5um particle size then moving down to the 2.7um particle size. We were even given the 1.8um to demo but did not have enough time for method development so would need to revisit the application. Regardless, it is a great product that is commonly used across the industry with a great reputation for THE column to use for cannabinoid analysis.

Robust.
Hop analysis
The Arc-18 column has acceptable separations but the robustness of the column and the resistance to clogging is outstanding.

I will continue to buy and use Restek columns!
Analytical testing
I cannot work without the Restek Raptor ARC18 column that I use daily for my testing needs. Lifespan is great especially with adding on the guard as an option. It is perfect for what I am testing and I would never go back.

The Raptor™ ARC-18 column is made specifically for high-throughput, low–sample prep LC-MS/MS applications. A well-balanced retention profile offers better detection and integration of large, multiclass analyte lists, and steric protection helps this SPP column endure the harsh, low-pH mobile phases needed for mass spec without sacrificing retention or peak quality.
Restek chemists became the first to combine the speed of superficially porous particles (also known as SPP or “core-shell” particles) with the resolution of highly selective USLC® technology. This new breed of chromatographic column allows you to more easily achieve peak separation and faster analysis times without expensive UHPLC instrumentation.
Even after extended use in these low-pH (≤ 2.0) conditions, the sterically protected ARC-18 offers consistent retention, peak shape, and response for charged bases, neutral acids, small polar compounds, and more. For the rapid analysis of large, multiclass assays by LC-MS/MS, the Raptor™ ARC-18 truly is ahead of the curve.
Raptor™ ARC-18 LC Columns Features:

This application note by Restek Corporation describes the development of a test method for the analysis of pesticides and mycotoxins in cannabis brownies using the California list.
High-Throughput Analysis of Cannabinoids by LC-UV
As the cannabis market grows, interest in more detailed analysis of cannabinoid profiles is expanding because more comprehensive data can be used for strain identification as well as to ensure more accurate potency testing. More than 100 cannabinoids have been isolated from cannabis to date, and these compounds can interfere with the five most commonly analyzed cannabinoids. Download this guide to discover a LC-UV method for the resolution of 16 cannabinoids for which commercial standards are available.
Fast, low-solvent analysis of cannabinoids increases lab productivity and decreases solvent costs
In the highly competitive cannabis testing market, labs that can expand services while decreasing costs have a strong advantage. High-demand tests such as potency testing and cannabinoid profiling can be improved by increasing speed, expanding analyte lists, and reducing costs. In this application note, Restek demonstrates a rapid, low-solvent analysis method that aims to fully resolve 19 cannabinoids that only uses 3 mL of accetonitrile per run. Using this method promises more accurate potency results and significantly reduced solvent costs.
An optimized pesticides multiresidue screening workflow for produce preparation and analysis by LC-MS/MS
In this poster, Restek demonstrates that Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged Safe (QuEChERS) and dispersive Solid Phase Extraction (dSPE) are robust sample preparation approaches for the matrices used. Restek highlights how Q-sep QuEChERS Extraction Salts are easy to use with acceptible recoveries of the pesticide.
The Analysis of Vitamin D Metabolites in Serum/Plasma by LC‐MS/MS
Vitamin D exists in two forms, vitamin D2 and vitamin D3. Each undergoes metabolism to form 25‐hydroxyvitamin D2 and 25‐hydroxyvitamin D3. For accurate determination of vitamin D levels in the blood, it is important to distinguish between these metabolites and to separate them from major matrix interferences. In this method, the RaptorTM ARC‐18 column combines the speed of superficially porous particles (SPP) with the resolution of highly selective USLC® technology to produce a simple and rugged method for the determination of vitamin D metabolites in serum and plasma.
Improved Analysis of Aldehydes and Ketones in Air Samples with Faster, More Accurate Methodology
Accurate analysis of aldehydes and ketones in air samples is an important part of monitoring air pollution and protecting human health around the world. These airborne carbonyls from industrial and vehicle emissions are precursors to ozone in smog and are associated with respiratory and pulmonary problems. The following application note details an improved methodology for this analysis.
