"This instrument is very interesting for nanotechnology, mainly for use the characterization of gold and silver nanoparticles in solution. I have been looking to understand your performance and calculate figures of merit such as selectivity, sensibility, limit of detection and quantification, robust, and others." |

"The NanoDrop 2000 is an excellent, easy-to-use instrument that makes DNA/Protein quantification a pleasure. We are a teaching institution, so the NanoDrop is a perfect tool for allowing our students to quantitate and evaluate the quality of the DNA and proteins that they purify. The most attractive features of the NanoDrop are the small volumes of sample required for analysis (as little as 1 microL) and the fact that no cuvettes are required. The instrument itself is easy to use and the software that accompanies it for control and data analysis is very user friendly. This is one of the best pieces of equipment that our lab has purchased!" |

"Excellent equipment. The sample is deposited directly onto the nozzle and the sample analysis takes just seconds. It does not requre to pipette the samples into tubes, saves sample volume. The software for data analysis is very useful as it allows you to visualise raw data in a graph which can be used to check the purity of the sample." |

"Compact and easy to use. Only requires a small amount of sample. However the price is high and it can only run one sample at a time. Also in order to get repairs or service it needs to be shipped back to manufacturers." |

"A very user-friendly interface with good details and walk-throughs for various protocols and applications. Easy to get up and running in a few minutes. Data is displayed in a very clear format. Easy to customize and save my own protocols, data, etc. I can tweak methods very precisely and easily. Changes are easy to detect. I have some difficulty with reproducibility - some sample measurements have to be thrown out for no apparent reason. The instrument has to be recalibrated frequently." |

"An absolute joy to use, it hasn't failed yet, however it doesn't replace a standard UV-VIS spec. You 'could' take the same measurements with a conventional spec- which gives better measurements- but requires a larger sample size." |

"Easy to use and great across many applications. Be sure to calibrate whenever results become untrustworthy as it will occasionally fall out of line, but calibration will bring it right back in." |
