"This system from Waters supplies direct capillary and nano flow rates for high resolution chromatography separations. It is very user friendly and robust. Changing columns and traps are very easy on this system. Both glass LC vials and 96 well plates can be used on this system. "

"A good system but it needs more extensive research to have a perfect synchronization to improve the efficiencies and analysis times. On the other hand, the MS system gives you perfect information about the MS of your analytes with an incredible detection limits: 4 of 6 points."

"Very easy to use, a wide range of columns are available from Waters and it is compatible with columns from other vendors as well. Phone technical service is a little bit slow. My university is in Upstate part of NY and I try to use the phone service instead of an on-site one, and most of the issues are resolved by myself and ignored by service for several weeks. I am contacted with more detailed help only after I have resolved the problem. In general the instrument is great; there are no major problems if maintenance is frequent. Software is really user friendly and it works well with a mass spectrometer. Resolution is ok, chromatographic peaks look nice. I would recommend for proteomics work but there is huge range of UHPLC instruments from other vendors so consider your application. For small molecule separations I have used better instruments."
