"The machine is fine, but only when it works. Completely unreliable, can mess up your whole experiment. Every component of the MACSquant that we bought has already been replaced including a laser, fluidics, PMTs and the CPU. The software does not allow any flexibility, you have to work within a pre-defined set of windows. Steep learning curve compared to products of competitors. If you can afford not to buy it, do yourself a favour and don't."

"It isn’t the simplest to use, an introduction is required. But the quant is helpful in different methods and usable for many different purposes."

"Allows absolute cell counts as flow is collected without counting beads. Very user friendly. Maintenance received within 24hrs when needed."

"Great design at a minimun scale, a clear seperation from other lab equipment manufacturers. However, laser lifetime is poor. Within two years 488nm laser collapsed twice and had to be replaced."
