LAMBDA 25, 35, & 45 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers

"These products are very important for our lab. In our laboratory, we have synthesized and characterized some drug and metal complexes. For the synthesis and characterization, we must to use ultra violet spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy; thermal analysis system, magnetic susceptibility measurements, elemental analysis (C, N, H, S)."

"This lab equipment was easy to use and it was easy to load samples. Adding extra samples to the run was easy, although viewing multiple results on one graph was sometimes confusing."

LAMBDA 25, 35, & 45 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers

"This UV/Vis is an extremely easy to use instrument and is also very affordable; I would definitely recommend it to a colleague. Its data acquisition times are very fast and the spectra obtained can be easily read and maximum absorption values can be determined with the click of a button. Overall, this is a great instrument for easy data acquisition and a great starting instrument for a novice analytical chemist to learn from."

Application Area: undergraduate laboratories
LAMBDA 25, 35, & 45 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers

"The instrument did not come with any training instead they installed a manual on the computer. There are two possible programs to use and the older and newer program do not give the same results. I don't know which one to trust. I am disappointed with this purchase but perhaps it would be fine if it included training that has been included with every other instrument purchase I have ever encountered."

LAMBDA 25, 35, & 45 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers

"This instrument at times can be difficult to use because it freezes and when zeroing and it glitches at times. But when working properly it is a great instrument to use and is accurate. I like how the program displays more than one trail. Very simple to put in cuvette the right way and has two slots for the cuvette. Once sample is in and zeroed correctly the UV-Vis is simple to use. At times it is difficult to find the right tools to display the graph."

"This product is used in most chemistry classes because it is a fast and easy.  It gives an accurate reading that is necessary to complete undergraduate labs. This is the only type of spectrometer I have used, but after analyzing the outcome of the data, results can be concluded that allow the data to be verified."
