Analysis of Mirus Sars-Covid-2
IntelliQube offers five distinct detection channels to enable multiplex reactions. Integrated liquid handling maximizes process flexibility and minimizes waste compared to rigidly defined chips, microarrays, or microfluidics. A variety of qPCR and end-point PCR applications are compatible with the system, including gene expression analysis, genotyping and copy number variants (CNVs), miRNA analysis, and zygosity.

The IntelliQube is the first fully automated and high-throughput instrument featuring seamless integration of liquid handling, thermal cycling, detection, and data analysis. The IntelliQube supports quantitative real-time PCR, end-point PCR, and isothermal chemistries, allowing you to realize the benefits of inline automation enabled by the innovative Array Tape™ consumable.
IntelliQube leverages best-in-class multi-functional dispensing for high speed liquid handling in 384- or 768-well Array Tape™. Precise sample dispensing into Array Tape is handled by an interchangeable CyBi® FeliX 96- or 384-channel pipetting head.
The IntelliQube supports inline amplification with a Peltier thermal cycling block designed specifically for Array Tape™. Due to a unique block design and surface geometry, both 384- and 768-well Array Tape are supported, without requiring a block change.
The IntelliQube features an advanced optical system optimized for inline fluorescence detection in Array Tape. Filtered LEDs are optimized for a variety of commonly used fluorophores excited within the range of 480-620 nm. A high-resolution CCD camera supports detection of fluorescence intensity within 5 detection channels for dyes emitting within the range of 510-705 nm. Multiplex data capture for all 5 optical channels can occur in as little as 10 seconds.

IntelliQube® Real-Time Quantitative PCR Performance Characterization
The IntelliQube from Douglas Scientific is a fully integrated laboratory instrument that combines liquid handling with real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) analysis in miniaturized reaction volumes. This application note reports on the performance of the IntelliQube. The performance characteristics of this innovative instrument were determined by a series of PCR-based experiments that interrogated PCR uniformity, resolution, and dynamic range. Additional experiments were performed to demonstrate the utilization of all five fluorescence channels, as well as a multiplex reaction with FAM and HEX reporters.
