The new Olympus FV1200 combines the accuracy of the IX83 frame with enhanced fluorescence sensitivity and laser stimulation of cells: The new GaAsP PMT detector unit delivers high sensitivity with up to 45% quantum efficiency and the new silver coating on the galvanometer scanning mirrors increases light efficiency in the visible range by 5-15% and IR reflectance up to 22%. Above all the new GaAsP module is fully compatible with the FV1000 and FV1000MPE systems.
