Consider other MS, especially at this price point.
Application Area: Wastewater
"Instrument does not have great reproducibility. Sensitivity is acceptable but reliability is the main drawback. In 8 years, the main PCB has needed to be replaced 2x, RF generator PCB replaced 1x, analog PCB replaced 1x, and IOB volumes need replacement frequently. The Xcalibur software and EnviroLabs software is also not very good compared to competitor software."

OK for regulatory work, but single quad GC/MS is best for this purpose
Application Area:Drinking Water methods
"Instrument is functional, and can operate as a single quad MS, but does have limitations when performing required Proficiency testing for regulatory work. The first software Envirolabs was not very robust, and cannot handle multi-peak analytes, and newer software is too expensive for our budget. "

"This product is very good, the ability to interchange Source with ease and detectors makes this instrument very useful. It has great sensitivity, is very robust and easy to clean and maintain. The software is very user friendly and very reliable. I recommend this product especially for trace analysis."
