Great results, easy to use!
Application Area: Replacing water condensers. Reduce water useage.
"The condensyn air condensers are so easy to use. They allow peace of mind when running overnight reactions, without the risk of flooding. We mainly used it for replacing the condenser when carrying out a cooling crystallization, especially in a large vessel, where the temperature ramp is programmed before leaving, but the temperature won't be high all night. The condensyn also makes it much much easier to set up several parallel reactions on one hotplate without worrying about water tubing everywhere."

Good for reducing water wastage.
Application Area:Waterless reflux condensor
"Very easy to use and due to waterless design means no water wastage and a reduction in leaks. Worked well with a variety of solvents incluiding DMF, MECN, DCM and THF and resulted in no evaporation of solvent or bumping of the reaction."

Effective design for reflux
Application Area:Reflux Reactions and Distillation
"The product is very effective when used correctly. For reflux, the product can substitute water condensers almost entirely, the exception is with diethyl ether. A positive by-product of the design is that users could be more conscious of the level of heating required during reflux since excessive heating will lead to loss of solvent, conceivably an additional indirect efficiency benefit. For conventional distillation, the product design is not so effective as distillate collects in the CondenSyn when angled horizontally. To replace water condensers in all applications effectively this needs to be addressed. "

Definitely saves a lot of water.
Application Area:Organic synthesis
"Product is very easy to use. It works best for one day reactions. I notice that in a three day reaction in MeCN/H2O mixture at 60 degrees I lose quite a lot of solvent which I am not so happy about."

A water-saving revelation!
Application Area:Water-free condenser in organic synthesis
"We have been using the large (450mm) CondenSyn condenser for the last 6 months on a THF drying still. It is very easy to use, and our observations show that solvent loss is lower than with a conventional water-condenser. In addition, the water savings are very encouraging. We are now looking to equip more in our department."

Very useful product that makes significantly easier the life of organic chemists!
Application Area:Organic synthesis under reflux conditions
"The CondenSyn waterless air condensers provide a very practical solution to avoid water circulation associated with conventional condensers. The system is as efficient as the water refrigerants (care has nevertheless to be taken to keep the heating temperature not higher than around 20 °C above the boiling point of the solvent used). We have not yet found any limitations with the solvents used (THF, toluene, diethyl ether, methylene chloride). Reaction volumes ranging from 5 mL to around 300 mL have been used."

Great product!
Application Area:Organic Chemistry
"Easy to use, saves space and effort of using water condensers. Used as instructed, we have experienced no loss of solvent yet. Great product."
The CondenSyn range of waterless air condensers is available in a wide range of useful sizes to suit all requirements. A low cost solution, this unique glass condenser, handmade individually in the UK, requires no cooling water for operation and therefore allows for continuous use without the risk of flooding. Save money, make better use of available resources, and help the environment!
