The codon humanized pRluc-N vectors contain a multiple cloning site (MCS) located upstream of the codon humanized Renilla Luciferase gene (Rluc(h)) which acts as the Donor moiety in a BRET2 assay. The MCS allows for the subcloning of a gene of interest in order to create a fusion protein having the structure [gene of interest:Rluc(h)].
