Description
This small bench-top centrifuge is especially practical due to a variety of swing-bucket and fixed-angle rotors, as well as component adapters.
Not only is the centrifugation of almost all industry standard tubes made possible, Microtiter and Deepwell plates can also be used. In addition, the new PCR tube strip rotor allows for the centrifugation of a wide range of PCR tubes (individual tubes, 5- and 8-piece strips).
With the help of the comprehensive modular accessories program, separations in the smallest tubes are as easy as the high-volume centrifuging of Falcon® tubes and bottles (max. capacity in the swing-bucket rotor: 4 x100 ml).
As with the refrigerated version, the Centrifuge 5804 R, and other related models (Centrifuge 5810 and 5810 R), the clearly laid out control panel allows up to 34 individual programs to be saved. Also, 10 start and braking ramps are provided for sensitive centrifuging materials. Further useful advantages of the Centrifuge 5804 include low construction height, motorized lid locking and minimal required bench-space.
