"This is a very versatile discrete analyzer. When my lab purchased one in 2008 we were able to move virtually all of our nutrients analysis off of our flow injection analyzer onto this instrument. The software was written by a European software group so it has slightly different conventions than we use in the USA. Otherwise it is a simple instrument to run. The 2 stars for after sales service are mostly a reflection of Thermo operating the tech support now. We did not receive good care from them and had to resort to a 3rd party to diagnose some problems and make repairs. We got our instrument without the cadmium reduction option, I still think FIA is the best way to handle that procedure." |

"Although the product support has moved companies several times, the instrument is still one of the workhorses of our lab." |
