Pittcon Launches Laboratory News and Video Service
06 Sep 2011

SelectScience and The Pittsburgh Conference today announced the launch of a laboratory news service on the Pittcon 2012 website (www.pittcon.org), providing a unique, enhanced online experience for all web visitors and Pittcon attendees.

The new service provides visitors with fast access to the latest news on laboratory equipment and techniques. News headlines and videos will be published daily, by the Scientific Editors of SelectScience.net, in the following areas: Separations, Spectroscopy, General Lab, Environmental, Life Science, Lab Informatics, Drug Discovery and Lab Automation.

"We are very pleased to partner on this initiative with SelectScience, a credible and long-standing member of the scientific publishing community. We strongly believe that the quality and variety of the news content greatly enhances and extends the value of our website to our conferees," stated Marian Nardozzi, Pittcon marketing and communications.

SelectScience worked closely with the Pittcon organising staff to integrate the new service onto Pittcon's existing website. Kerry Parker, General Manager and Editor of SelectScience, commented, "it's been a privilege to work with the great people at Pittcon. Together we have created an excellent new service for the industry, which we hope will contribute to the future success of Pittcon."
