The PharmaGard™ series of Compounding Aseptic (CAI) and Containment (CACI) Isolators have recently been updated with several key ergonomic features. Engineered upgrades to the in-work-zone sharps and waste system utilize individual “pull down and out” trays creating the ability to independently change each sharps and waste container as they fill.

Located under the work zone, the “pull down and out” feature repositions the container closer to the pharmacist using less effort when changing. When replacing containers, the locking mechanism helps create an air tight seal maintaining a true ISO Class 5 environment. Also, an improved vertical sliding counter balance inter-chamber window creates a seamless transition when entering compounding materials into the work zone. Other key ergonomic features include: auto-lift basestand; oversized oval glove ports; cool white lighting; and three (3) IV bar locations.

PharmaGard ES (Energy Saver) NU- NR800 Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator

NuAire, Inc.

The PharmaGard NR797 creates a negative pressure clean air [ISO Class 5] re-circulating controlled environment for the aseptic compounding of hazardous drugs. The HEPA filtered work area maintains a negative air pressure relative to the interchange compartment, which operates at a negative air pressure relative to the surrounding room. These levels of protection minimize the possibility of chemotherapy agents or other hazardous materials migrating from the work area into the surrounding room as well as minimizing the possibility of contamination migrating into the work zone.

PharmaGard ES (Energy Saver) NU-NTE800 Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator

NuAire, Inc.

The PharmaGard NTE797 creates a negative pressure clean air [ISO Class 5] total exhaust controlled environment for the aseptic compounding of hazardous drugs.

PharmaGard ES (Energy Saver) NU-PR797 Compounding Aseptic Isolator

NuAire, Inc.

The PharmaGard PR797 creates a positive pressure clean air [ISO Class 5] controlled environment specifically for aseptic compounding of non-hazardous drugs. The HEPA filtered work area maintains a positive air pressure relative to the interchange compartment, which operates at a positive air pressure relative to the surrounding room. These two levels of protection minimize the possibility of contamination migrating into the work zone.
