ICx Nomadics to Feature Label-Free Interaction Analysis System at SBS 2010
06 Apr 2010

This year ICX Nomadics will feature the Label-Free Biomolecular Interaction Analysis system SensiQ Pioneer in an Exhibitor Tutorial on Thursday, April 15th in Room 126AB. John Quinn, Chief Scientist, will present the advantages of the Fast-Step™ Injection method for throughput improvements for kinetics analysis.

The SensiQ Pioneer continues the tradition of cost-effective biomolecular interaction analysis systems from ICx Technologies. The Pioneer is a three channel system designed to provide high sensitivity for studies such as small molecule-protein interactions and also high accuracy and precision for demanding kinetic and affinity determinations.

Application areas particularly suited to the Pioneer include:

- Antibody Screening and Characterization
- Protein-Small Molecule Interactions for Drug Discovery
- Protein-Protein Interaction Kinetics
- Antibody Quality Control
- Disease Mechanism Studies
- Biomarker Development

Incorporated into the SensiQ Pioneer are capabilities normally found in higher end systems. These capabilities include sample handling from microplates, vials, or tubes, in-line buffer degassing, gradient injection, detection to 150 Da, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Advanced instrument control and data analysis software provide a powerful yet easy to use interface for producing high quality data. A wide range of surface chemistries are also available.
