40th MEDICA in 2008: Eppendorf represented from the beginning
31 Oct 2008

In pace with the 40th World Forum for Medicine, the MEDICA 2008 in Düsseldorf (November 19-22), Eppendorf will also be celebrating its 40th anniversary as an exhibitor at this fair.

Eppendorf's founding goes back to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. The background of this think-tank is thus firmly established in the field of medicine. It all began with a philosophy dedicated to alleviating human need and suffering. The pioneering spirit of the two company founders lead to the development of products which have remained at the forefront of medical technologies up to the present day. The launch of the photometer and microliter technology represented milestones in the history of medicine.

The following years were characterized by dynamic developments and far-reaching changes. The small repair shop evolved into a company group known throughout the world which has remained a driving force in the biotechnology market.

Eppendorf AG's desire to engage in close dialog with researchers and scientists is demonstrated by their active participation at the world's largest professional trade fair for medical technology during the last 40 years. Hall 3, Booth A92
