Editorial Article: SelectScience to Provide Exclusive AACR 2018 Show Coverage and Reveal Winners of the Life Sciences Scientists’ Choice Awards

The SelectScience team is gearing up to attend the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2018 where we will be interviewing scientists at the forefront of research and reporting on technological innovations that could make all the difference. Taking place from April 14 - 18 in Chicago, USA, AACR highlights the best cancer science and is the world's largest meeting devoted to the prevention and cure of the disease. 

As the 2018 meeting marks the 110th anniversary year of AACR, the theme of this event will be “Driving Innovative Cancer Science to Patient Care”, which serves as a powerful reminder that it's the patients in urgent need of a cure who should always be at the heart of scientific progress. 

During the event, SelectScience will be announcing the winners of the Life Sciences Scientists’ Choice Awards 2018 with a special ceremony at our 20th anniversary party on Monday, April 16. Launched in 2007, these coveted annual awards showcase the laboratory products and manufacturers that have made the greatest difference to scientific progress over the past year. Scientists worldwide are invited to voice their opinions by nominating and voting for the best instruments and developments the industry can offer.

In addition, our editors will be conducting interviews with key opinion leaders for our new video platform, The Scientists' Channel.

More than 400 exhibitors will arrive from across the globe to display their new technologies for lab and clinical research — SelectScience will be  visiting their booths to speak to the scientists behind these innovations.
