LC/MS/MS Quantitation of Parent Drug and Three Metabolites in Human Serum Using Empore™ 96-Well Universal Resin Plate

In this application note a bioanalytical method is developed to quantitate parent drug and three metabolites (Desethyl, 3-OH, and 4-OH Metabolites) in human serum. Sample preparation involved dilution with buffer, addition of internal standard, and clean-up using an Empore™ 96-Well Universal Resin Solid Phase Extraction Plate. The liquid chromatography system employed a reversed-phase gradient method with triple-quadrupole mass spectrometric (MS/MS) detection. The method is validated with respect to multiple parameters.
