Using the Statistical Compare and Fisher Ratio ChromaTOF Features to Define Variance in the Small Metabolite Profile of Diabetic Versus Non-Diabetic Urine by GCxGC-TOFMS
31 Jul 2009

In this paper by Leco, Statistical Compare is utilized to define the small metabolite profile with potentially significant class differences between trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatized urine from diabetic and non-diabetic subjects analyzed by GCxGC-TOFMS. The results demonstrate significantly increased analytical performance is achieved by utilizing comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography coupled with TOFMS for the characterization of small molecule metabolite profiles.
