The Determination of Toxic, Essential and Nutritional Elements in Food Matrices Using the NexION 300 ICP-MS

This application note describes the use of a next generation ICP mass spectrometer for the determination of toxic, essential and nutritional elements in foodstuffs. The study demonstrates how selective attenuation of the cell quadrupole bandpass allows macro-level minerals to be determined without dilution in the same sample run as the trace elements.
