Quantitation and Identification of Dicyandiamide in Milk and other Protein-Rich Foods Using LC/MS/MS

In this application note LC/MS/MS is used for the fast, simple and accurate analysis of dicyandiamide and other nitrogen rich compounds in milk and other protein rich foods. It is shown that the AB SCIEX QTRAP® 5500 systems provide excellent sensitivity and selectivity for this analysis, and minimal sample preparation is required.
