Quantifying Amplicons in Non-Purified PCR Reactions

Read this application note to learn about a method to use the DropSense96 droplet reader combined with the cDrop content analysis software. The measured UV-¬‐Vis spectrum is dissected to determine the spectral contribution of all PCR components thereby performing a specific quantification of the amplicon within the mixture. This note describes the performance of a first generation cDrop spectral analysis protocol for PCR amplicon quantification.
