Mimicking Real Tissue Using 3D Cell Cultures Allows Cells to Grow and Propagate Better
13 February 2013

Technological advances over the past couple of years have enabled 3D scaffolds to be engineered that create an in vivo proxy that is more realistically mimics living cellular environments. This application note demonstrates that the Freedom EVO workstation can simply and routinely process cell cultures in Alvetex Scaffold in a 96-well plate format. The results show that when combined these systems can provide cell biologists with higher throughput as well as higher level of standardization for both basic research and drug discovery.
