Identification and Quantitation of Pesticides in Chamomile and Ginger Extracts
21 Nov 2012

This application note describes the use of triggered MRM (tMRM) for the analysis of pesticide residues applied to chamomile and ginger extracts. Analysis was performed on the Agilent 1290 LC system coupled to a 6460 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS with tMRM acquisition. Tebuthiuron in chamomile and tebufenpyrad in ginger were both quantitated and confirmed with library matching in a single anylytical run. This method avoids false positive identification through the use of library matching and tMRM acquisition.
