ICP-OES Analysis of FeCr Alloys Prepared by Sodium Peroxide Fusion

This work describes the performance of the Optima™ 8300 inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) in analyzing ferrochrome samples prepared by sodium peroxide fusion. Accuracy and precision were evaluated by measuring the recovery and the relative standard deviation of three standard reference materials (SRMs).
