Extraction of Pharmaceuticals from Water Using EVOLUTE ABN Columns

In this application note from Biotage, a procedure is described for the extraction of a variety of pharmaceuticals from water using non-polar polymeric SPE. The method uses a novel polymer based sorbent, EVOLUTE ABN, for extraction of pharmaceuticals recognised as potential environmental contaminants. Absolute recoveries from water and extraction reproducibility are assesed for a number of pharmaceuticals. Extractions products are analysed using a triple quadrupole MS.
