Determination of Phenylurea Compounds in Tap Water and Bottled Green Tea

This application note demonstrates an efficient HPLC method for the sensitive determination of nine phenylurea compounds in drinking water samples using on-line solid-phase extraction (SPE) and UV detection. The reduced MDLs using UV detection afforded by the on-line SPE created a convenient method for determining these compounds in drinking water with MDLs meeting the sensitivity of U.S. EPA Method 532.
