Analysis of Prostate Tumor Cell Invasion Using BD FluoroBlok™and FLUOstar

In this application note prostate tumor cells were used to evaluate a higher-throughput method for measuring cell invasion in the FLUOstar microplate reader. Real-time analysis of fluorescently labeled cells showed alterations in invasion patterns under different conditions. Furthermore, the ability to alter the CO₂ and O₂ conditions adds to the flexibility of the assay.
