The European Union, China, USA, Japan and other countries have issued strict maximum residue levels for aminoglycosides in various animal-origin food products. This application note demonstrates a multiresidue method, that is both simple and fast, for routine regulatory analysis of aminoglycoside residues in milk. The results show that the Agilent Bond Elut Plexacan be used for effective purification and enrichment of multiple aminoglyosides in a complex matrix such as milk.
