In this video E.J. Dell, International Marketing Manager at BMG LABTECH, discusses some of the key features of the highly successful PHERAstar FS microplate reader including its multiple detection modes and numerous excitation sources. E.J. tells SelectScience about its applications in cell-based screening assays, laser-based AlphaScreen®, HTRF and more recently the analysis of label-free SoPRano™ assays. Some of the unique features such as the UV laser for TR-FRET measurements and the direct optic bottom reading are also discussed. Interview filmed at MipTec 2012 by SelectScience.
