Immediately useable mobile mass spectrometer

The Viking 573 is a highly integrated portable gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) system designed to perform rigorous laboratory quality analyses at or near the sampling point. Compact, lightweight and robust, the Viking 573 can be easily deployed to the point of analytical need, where it can be ready to analyze samples within minutes of arrival.

The system incorporates the advanced Agilent 5973 Mass Selective Detector, Viking's miniaturized temperature-programmable GC oven and injector, oil-free turbomolecular vaccum system and data system into Bruker's patented GC/MS design.
The Viking 573 includes a Pentium microprocessor, high capacity hard disk and Agilent Chemstation™ software for instrument control and data analysis.

A multifunctional sample introduction system is incorporated into the system design to allow for multimedia analyses ranging from volatiles through semivolatile analysis for a variety of applications.
