A specially designed plate converts a transilluminator's ultraviolet radiation to white light for viewing protein gels, coomassie blue stained or silver stained media. The Converter Plate's uniquely phosphored glass assembly (patent pending) converts the UV radiation via a white diffuser. The scratch-resistant glass is mounted in a metal housing for durability. Handles are situated on two sides of the plate for easy handling. Two plates are available for covering transilluminator filter surface sizes up to 21 x 26cm or 20 x 40cm. Custom sizes are also available.
