The original idea behind the ThermoStat plus was comfortable temperature-control of all commonly used lab tubes. The result is a compact bench-top thermostat with Peltier technology - an ideal partner for the Eppendorf Thermomixer family. Most outstanding of all is its ability to maintain different temperature levels up to 99°C, with its "plus" being a cooling facility for temperatures as low as -5°C.
The thermoblocks for 0.2 ml, 0.5 ml, 1.0 ml and 2.0 ml tubes as well as for microtiter plates enable a high degree of flexibility for a multitude of applications. An additional thermoblock for the ThermoStat plus is available in the form of the new Eppendorf CombiBox, a universal temperature-control chamber for vials and beakers with a height of up to 60 mm. Operating the ThermoStat plus is unbelievably easy: simply select the temperature and then press Start - and the time starts running. For special applications, the temperature and run time are programmable, with a choice of up to four temperature levels and four time phases in succession.
